Whisky Tasting "at sea"

After I was already in some whiskey tastings in the mountains, I recently had an impressive debut "at sea":

beginning of June, the hotel " Bad Schachen " from Lindau to a "Night of the Senses" is loaded.
With the oldest paddle steamer propelled " Hohentwiel " (born 1913), it was early evening to a musical dinner with cigars and whiskey lounge on Lake Constance, where the Start the 60th Bodensee-racing with nearly 400 sailors already almost common ocean-atmosphere.

sunset sails, wherever you looked ...

for dinner on the deck there were plenty of views and music, and thus the effect, then should not be missed out, we had built up under cover of a cigar lounge and whiskey. There was indeed no whiskey in 1913 to try, but the bottlings from The Whisky Chamber of 1990 (Highland Park, Mortlach) corresponded well to the great cigars.
Thank God the weather was in the evening with the sun-drenched guests - 2 days early because of the storm and we would probably need to offer a stiff grog ...

The "Hohentwiel" with its brilliance of brass and polished wood, I was determined not seen the last. In nice weather we will definitely make again with her a Bodensee round trip - with or without Whisky Tasting ...

Slainte & Mast & id ahoy
